first off, there was a great turn out today to represent z's. there were about 12 there with only about 4 not racing, maybe more, i wasnt paying much attention. i also met some members for the first time, which was pretty cool. Fantaz, was there with his monster z, but ill let him post about what he did if he wants. the day started off a little sketchy when one of the gsx's we were caravaning down w/ blew his tranny on the turnpike and had to call for a flatbed, sux cuz he has an 11 sec car and hasnt broken a 12.0 YET, but he will. anyway, back to z's. my day started off VERY VERY poorly, and i wont even mention my first two times, but i kinda blew it off b/c its my first time w/ this setup. soooo, the third run i busted out with a 13.1 at 112 mph. this was a huge improvement over the two previous runs, and i was kinda happy with it considering im still running on stock rims and dry rotted tires. well, final run of the day and me and arnel get lined up together:) i was thinking this was gonna be great for the cameras, and what do ya know?! while doing my burnout 2 of my spark plug connectors came off!!!!! Arnel proceeded down the track while i pulled over and fixed my problem. so back to the burnout box for one more shot. do a quick little burnout and BAM, threw down a 2.1 60ft and got my 12.6 at (ready for this:)) 118mph!! i was sooo stoked with this trap speed i couldnt believe it:) now i am absolutely positive these turbos are good for mid/high 11 seconds, its just a matter of getting the suspension dialed in, which i will have done by the summer. if i had a scanner i would scan my slips, but i dont, so i cant, sorry. ill let others post their own times, but i will say this, Arnel represented in typical fashion, Erik (myfirstz) was having some boost problems, but still kept it consistent in a decent time area, sean's car is still a monster lol, and i heard about a little faster time than mine and arnels(ok fine arnel ran a 12.6 too) but im not sure who it was, so i cant give props to that person, but good job anyway. so again, it was great meeting everyone and hope to see you guys again in a few weeks when we do it again.
